Tumbled Green Aventurine

The name Aventurine comes from the Italian word: A Ventura, a type of glass discovered around the year 1700 and chosen because of its likeness to the glass with its randomly spaced iridescent sparkles to these stones with their similar markings. 

Green Aventurine gets its coloring from the microscopic particles of fuchsite embedded within the quartz. Green Aventurine is a stone of optimism and zest for life.
